  • Drew Breneman

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Drew began his real estate career at just 19 years old when he bought his first two rental properties. At that early age, he learned real estate was the best method to generate cash flow and build wealth long-term when he was looking at how to invest his own money. He has since dedicated his career to building an organization that makes investing in high-quality real estate opportunities available to passive investors. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the Wisconsin School of Business at UW Madison —one of the best real estate programs in the country.

  • Samuel Meyer

    DIRECTOR OF INVESTOR RELATIONS

    Sam brings a wealth of experience to Breneman Capital in real estate brokerage, sales, and as co-founder of Dwelle Properties with Drew. As Director of Investor Relations, he maintains communication with investors, answers questions, and ensures that they understand how their capital is invested why it matters in the context of their portfolio. Sam dedicates his time to understand our investors personally and how we can best serve them to meet their goals. He earned his degree from DePauw University where he played college soccer.

  • Evan Dillon

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Evan sources and screens potential investment opportunities and manages the team’s analytics and financial modeling infrastructure. As a former member of the acquisitions team at Heitman, he was lead underwriter and helped close on a total transaction volume in excess of $2.5 billion in gross asset value. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Stephen M Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

  • Tom Stein

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Tom began his career as an intern with The Blackhawk Investment Group —another company co-founded by Drew. He then worked at Northern Trust in the Hedge Fund Services Department. Today, he oversees investor reporting and analytics and sources new acquisition opportunities. He earned his BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Sam Markin

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Sam brings experience in private equity fund management, accounting, commercial leasing, and real estate development. He was a college soccer player at Colorado College, where he earned his BA in Economics and Business. He also obtained his Master of Science in Real Estate Development/Urban Land Economics/Private Equity Real Estate from the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison. Today, he sources and underwrites new acquisition opportunities and manages relationship-building and deal-sourcing efforts for Breneman Capital.

    Dominick Scafidi

    MARKETING MANAGER

    Dominick Scafidi brings his creative drive and technical savvy to oversee Breneman Capital marketing initiatives, webinar program, and the Breneman Blueprint podcast. He’s a recovering political campaign addict reformed into a digital marketer. Social media obsessive. An infrastructure and planning nerd. Lover of all things new media and a proud Chicagoland native. He earned his BA in Politics and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Urban Studies from Lake Forest College.
